Thunderbird/Cougar
There are several different clusters that were installed in the MN12 cars from 1989-1997.
1989-1991 3 Gauge Cluster found in the Cougar and Thunderbird.
The photos above show a set of white Bullitt style faces, with green lighting at night with stock bulbs.
1991-1996 6 Gauge Cluster (a similar version is found in the 1989-1995 SC's and 1989-1990 XR7's) For the Supercharged cars, the voltage gauges shown in the photos below would be replaced with the boost gauge. On 1989-1990 supercharged cars, the speedometer face should have a small screw on each side of the speedometer needle. Please note that when ordering, just as a confirmation step.
In certain years, Ford played with the two middle gauges, some cars have the voltage gauge on top, where as others have the fuel gauge on top. We would need to know this when ordering.
The photos above show a set of black Power Line style faces, with blue lighting at night with stock bulbs.
The gauge faces show above are the Bullitt style with flames. The flames during the day are gray and subtle. This is done to prevent them from being a distraction. The second & third pictures show the cluster lit with the stock bulbs and an additional light added to the top of the speedometer. The fourth & fifth photos show the same cluster with 194 LED bulbs in place of the stock bulbs. Please note the color difference between the two different lighting arrangements.
1997 4 Gauge cluster. For some odd reason, Ford decided to replace the 6 gauge cluster with a cluster from the Taurus/Sable.
The photos above show a set of white Factory Appearing style faces, with blue lighting at night with stock bulbs.
Did any one say "Well, what about flames?" We've got you covered. (Flames can be added to any style of white faces, just in case you were wondering...)
The photos above show a set of flamed white Bullitt style faces, with green lighting at night with contrasting yellow/red flames. The center photo shows the cluster lit with the standard bulbs, where as the photo on the right shows the cluster lit with 194 LED bulbs.
