Products for the Ford Focus
Although the name of the Website is CustomGaugeFaces.com, we are more than just about the gauge faces. Sure, we have the gauge faces for the Focus (both the 3 and 4 gauge clusters are available) but take a look below at what else is available.
Here are a few different versions of the Carbon Fiber style for the Focus. There are currently three standard color configurations of these faces, Blue with Blue & White lighting, Grey with Green & White lighting and Maroon with Red & White lighting.
Blue faces with blue & white lighting
Gray faces with green & white lighting
Maroon faces with red & white lighting
Now, if you like the gray faces with the red lighting, that can be done, you'll just have to let us know. The colors can be mixed & matched.
Another style that is available is the Large Text II, which has easy to read numbers and resemble some aftermarket gauges. The numbers on the temperature gauge are simply a guess, but they are a bit more accurate than "a tick mark below 'H'".
This style is also available in black and many other colors, here are some examples of them. The yellow version was made to compliment a yellow Focus.
There are other styles that are under development. Custom sets are always a possibility. Hey, it's the first word in our name.
Other than gauge faces, we have other items to offer. These are items that we have thought would be cool for the Focus, and have used our vehicle as the Guinea pig, so if you see a lot of photos of a Silver Focus, you'll know why.
Stripes for the ZX models.
The Focus ZX3's & 5's can sometimes use a little help in the aggressiveness category. A simple set of stripes can liven up the car's demeanor. The stripes shown below are 9" wide. The hood stripes taper down to 8" as they traverse the hood.
LED license plate lights.
The stock incandescent license plate lights cast a dingy light on the plate. They are often damaged by the shock of numerous hatch closures. A leaking gasket can allow moisture into the lamp assembly and corrode the bulb terminals.
After trying many different premade LED bayonet style lights (many did not last very long) I decided to try a different approach. Using the stock lens assembly and a small array of wide angle LEDs, the following photos show the result of our labors.
LED foglight retrofit
This modification was brought about when one of my foglight housings sprouted a hairline crack above on of the bulbs. This little crack allowed moisture into the lamp assembly. The moisture kept building up until it was able to touch the bulb & cause it to fail prematurely. The bulbs were removed and the housings were modified to accept a 1 Watt LED module. They do not light up as bright as the stock 55 Watt halogen foglights, but they give a very nice lighting effect, considering they use 54 Watts less power than the stock ones.
